A symposium with Amory Lovins
With the expansion of renewable energy deployment, penetration of distributed power generation, and the
evolution of IT technology, networks connecting distributed energy is expanding as an alternative to the
conventional large-scale centralized energy system.
With that context, Japan Renewable Energy Foundation held a symposium to discuss the trend and
perspectives of distributed networks in Japan and the world, joined by Mr. Amory Lovins, a board member of
the Foundation and a world-renowned scientist who has long been proposing a shift to distributed energy.
