Minsk: Belarus 20-21 September
In the context of a rapidly changing world there is a pressing need to combine technical knowledge and expertise with capabilities and practices applied in development processes. Social Innovation Lab (SILab) model has been successfully tested by a number of UNDP Country Offices across the world, and is recognized as an effective tool for bringing youth into the process of designing and then sustaining new solutions to social challenges.
The first Belarus SILab will be organized in the format of a 48-hour Hackathon. This event will bring together young professionals, social activists, civil society leaders as well as UNDP colleagues and external experts to build working prototypes of solutions to the development challenges faced in Belarus.
