The 2010 Black and White Concert is the first of the two major concerts at the Frisco School of Music that are given by participants in the Star Power program.
As you will see, there are a mix of ages and skill levels represented, and different instruments being played
Some of the performers are beginners who have just started taking lessons and are playing for an audience for the first time, while other students have been playing and performing for several years.
The students have been taking lessons on a variety of instruments to include; piano, guitar, voice, violin and drums. The performers play rock, jazz, classical and everything in between.
In addition to their solo performances each of the musicians perform in a band. These bands provide a rousing wrap to each concert.
The concerts were broadcast live on the Internet to let friends and family who couldn't attend watch online from work or home.
There were over 260 audience members in attendance and an additional worldwide audience of over 180 viewers watching online.
