Meet "Hedera" or "Heddy" for short. The two babies hatched on March 6. We are watching the 2nd nest of the season in the ivy under the bottlebrush tree. The first nest was made by Ivy who successfully raised Lemon & Lime. As soon as Ivy's babies fledged on Feb 10, Heddy started taking bits of fluff from the empty nest. Heddy built her nest just 6-7 feet from where Ivy's nest was.
