Born and raised in there hometown Springfield , Ma. Sisters Anita and Shanell better known as Unexpected. it wasn't long before Unexpected became musically inspired. At a young age, Unexpected observed and became captivated by every aspect of the entertainment field. While performing in talent shows, along with modeling and dancing; their aspirations grew each and every day. Unexpected has a passion to entertain, if there's a stage, their on it. If there's a camera, their in front of it. Unexpected says, "Its as if we become a completely different person as soon as we step on stage. we begin playing a role. The shyness that you see when you first meet us, somewhat disappears. we become an actress putting on a show for you." At the age of 12 and 16 yrs old Anita and Shanell started off in a dance group called Desire performing at various venues and at school talent shows. they also appeared in the december 16 2001 sunday republican for Teens Dream. Thats where they got there stage name from Nacil(Anita) and Floneay(shanell). Unexpected is a talented triple threat rappers/dancers/ singers also songwriters. Unexpected with their rhaspy southern flow and soulful r&b voices knows how to owns the stage and please the crowd ,with their r&b/hiphop and southern vibe. Unexpected looks up to such artist as Salt and pepper, Missy Elliott ,ludacris, Destiny'schild ,Monica, and so many more. 7yrs in the game and with lack of support from their family Unexpected still remains confident and ever hungry to stay determine to make their way in the industry unexpected prides their self on being a complete entertainer/artist, rather than just a rapper/singer.Unexpected is driven to become someone that makes great music that will be loved for years to come, rather than just making for-the-moment-songs that will be easily forgotten.
