Frank Knapp, Jr., co-founded The SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce in February of 2000. He serves as the president and CEO of the 5000+ member statewide advocacy organization that has taken a leadership role in making South Carolina more small business friendly in areas such as healthcare, taxation, regulation, worker training, energy/conservation and economic development. Mr. Knapp also serves on the steering committee for the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC). The Chamber's and ASBC's advocacy for reform at the Federal level has earned Mr. Knapp invitations to participate in Congressional press conferences at the Capitol in efforts to pass Financial Reform, the Small Business Jobs Act and other issues. Mr. Knapp is also president of The Knapp Agency, a full service advertising/public relations firm in Columbia that he founded in 1991. In addition, he hosts a talk show every weekday on a Columbia radio station. Mr. Knapp holds a masters degree from the University of South Carolina.
