George is a former Marine and a retired DEA agent. He has served in Afghanistan as a law enforcement professional where he conducted counterinsurrgency security operations on behalf of US forces. Hood is currently a certified personal trainer at X Sport Fitness in Naperville, IL and a certified "spin"cycling instructor. George is an ultra endurance athlete and has set 4 Guinness World Records, three of which were on the stationary "spin" bike. His first GWR was for the Rope Skipping Marathon in 1986 in Honolulu, HI. He is the father of 3 sons and resides in Aurora, IL. George has been passionate about using his talents to raise money for various not for profit groups. Since 2007, Hood has raised over $100,000.00 for various organizations. And in doing so he has also set world records or certainly close to it with his remarkable feats of athletic endurance.
