Seattle Tech Startups (STS) is an organization that aims to help entrepreneurs give and seek advice on running technology startups. This show broadcasts our monthly meetings in which we invite prominent speakers to discuss a broad range of topics from fundraising and intellectual property, to scaling and cloud computing, to monetization and funnel optimization. Talks are typically attended by 40-80 people. We also have a very active mailing list of nearly 2,000 entrepreneurs, VCs, angels, and tech workers interested in startups. Seattle's best and brightest technorati regularly contribute and monitor the list, and it is frequently touted as one of the best resources for technology entrepreneurs out there. STS was founded in the summer of 2006 by Chuck Groom and Gaurav Oberoi, two ex-Amazonians who have started and sold one company, and are working on the second one.
