On the nineteenth day of April in Hazel Crest, Illinois, a star was born. Jermell Clark earned the nickname Cheez thanks to his bright, inviting smile. Coming from a broken home, Cheez turned to his music for comfort at a very young age. He joined the Mohawk Elementary band as a percussionist in the fifth grade. At that time, he began listening to artist such as Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G, and groups like The Leaders of a New School, Crucial Conflict, Psycho Drama, and the Snipers. These musicians inspired Cheez to create his own stle as well as a way of life. The phrase M.O.E. (money over everything) soon became a lifestyle and prefix to young and ambitious Cheez. During his teen years, on the busy Chicago streets, MOE Cheez witnessed many trials and tragedies. For years his writing and recording earned very little profit but gained tremedous respect. Reguardless, Cheez continued to push his music to the fullest. Those experiences molded him into a goal-oriented and determined young man. At the age of eighteen, Cheez became a part of the Chi-Town group known as "Lyrical Technicians." He worked continuously on mastering his delivery and control all the while adapting to various musical scenarios. Later writing songs like "Pink Diamonds", "Bout Face", and "Runnin", encouraged him to perform before an audience. MOE Cheez believed he could capture listeners' attention and impress them with his live stage presence. Struggling to make ends meet, Cheez opted to move to a new city in order for his voice to be heard by a broader realm of people. Shortly after relocating to Fort Wayne, Indiana, he booked shows at local night clubs including Legends and Pieres. It was then when he realized he had a sincere passion to entertain. He dedicated most of his time to studying music and the industry; reading countless books, articles and biographies of some of his favorite and most successful artists in the game. An optomistic Cheez helped to create a group named Kinn Folk, including himself and two other aspiring lyricists. The group soon released singles to local radio stations and sucessfully dominated other local tracks. Club owners noticed the buzz over the groups music and contacted them to perform their hit singles such as "Never Back Down", "Get Buck", and "Face It". Shortly after, they were invited to perform in Ohio, Illinois, Florida and Arizona. Though the performances went well, the members of Kinn Folk decided to go their separate ways after returning due to creative differences in opinion. As a solo artist, MOE Cheez really began to let his talent shine. He set a new record in Indiana when he was contacted by producers from the national hit show, BET's 106 & Park, and was asked to come perform against other rappers for a national record deal. He was the first usigned music artist from Indiana to perform on a national stage bringing in over 9.7 million viewers. Although Cheez made it through the first two battles a winner, he was defeated in the last round of the competiton. His three appearances on BET opened up other doors and led him to other opputunites as an artist. Since the hit show, Cheez has opened up huge cast of artists such as: Plies, Bubba Sparks, OJ da Juiceman, Too Short, Young LA, Gorilla Zoe, Twista, Do or Die, Bone Thugs N Harmony, 8 Ball&MJG, Lil Wayne, Dem Franchize Boys, Bun B, Wine-o, Shawna, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Juelz Santana, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, VIC, 2 Pistols, and Rocco. Currently MOE Cheez is a co-host for the number one rated Big Kess show at Wild 96.3 in Fort Wayne, IN. after releasing his highly anticapated mix tape with dj smart titled huslemania 7 the response from the succsess of the mix tape prompted moe cheez do relase another project but this time there was no second guess about the self intiteld album i am moe cheez avalible on every download sight such as i tunes rhasdy tune core e music verizon with his hit single what dat girl name and we made it from the start both produced by j ray for incredible music the self proclaimed 16 king has featured on hundreds of songs and will not rest until his music is heard and enjoyed worldwide his dedication experience and talent make moe cheez an icon people gravatate to LADIES AND GENTALMEN BOYS AND GIRLS INTRODUCING A LEGEND IN THE MAKING ,,,I GIVE YOU MOE CHEEZ AKA THE16KINGAKA MR EVERYWHERE
