When DJ SlyTay talks, the CSRA listens, especially when he’s conducting one of his high-profile celebrity interviews, giving the audience the exclusive music first or informing them about their favorite celebrities. While the Ohio native has been part of 103 Jams the Fox (formerly Foxie 103) for several years, his radio career began 10 years ago at a WCKX in Columbus, Ohio. Although initially hired as an Intern, management quickly recognized his great voice and personality. SlyTay went to work overnights on-air and was later promoted to the Mix Show Coordinator. His career then brought him to Perry Broadcasting (formerly Radio One), where he has the # 1 Arbitron rated night show with a 22 share. In addition to producing several mix tapes, mixing at various clubs and appearing on BET’s Rap City, he is also a local television personality, conducting interviews weekly for an Independent TV show “Shine On TV” which showcases the most talented artists in the CSRA.
