Lloyd Hawkins A.K.A. Jeff Hawkshead has always had a thing for music! Jeff's grandmother started teaching him on the organ and piano at 2yrs old. She had played all her life in big churches with pipe organs. She passed these skills on to Jeff. At the age of five the album "THRILLER" had come out, already having a record player he added it to his collection. It is still a favorite of his Jeff's grandmother was also an avid collector of records as well. Jeff says" I was about eight or nine when the LICENSE TO ILL album came out, I had no idea what I was listening to but I liked it a lot ". He was ripping apart keyboards and radios to hook them up and play tunes. By age 11 Jeff picked up a trumpet and took lessons, for both trumpet and percussion, He was playing in the high school band by age 12. It was 97’ or 98’ when he first experienced anything about techno and the rave scene, when a friend had taken him to Orlando to firestone. After that night he was hooked on anything and everything that had to do with the underground scene. Another buddy had purchased Gemini DJ in a box belt drive tables with a 2ch mixer. He showed Jeff how to play records. "Spending countless hours in my garage with these guys has certainly paid off in big ways". Jeff started playing small gigs and house parties with his buddies. "There is something about house parties that rock" Jeff says. They started throwing really big shows to make them known. They would get together and jam for hours. Butch, Angel, and Jeff continue to play parties till this day, but going their separate ways. Jeff has and continues to play in cities such as Miami, Orlando, Brazil, New Castle, Prague, Atlanta, LA, and Southwest Florida "I am currently working hard in my studio to produce live sets and new track all the time”.
