Dave Coover is AIM Institute’s Director of Training. The AIM Institute is a not-for-profit membership organization that provides information technology leadership to Nebraska and the surrounding region.. Dave graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1987) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. Dave also holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration (1994) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is certified as a Secondary Science Teacher and Secondary Principal. He has served in roles as a Classroom Teacher, Department Chairman, Technology Coordinator, Network Administrator, and Student Recruitment Director. Dave is retired from the Nebraska Air National Guard after 23 years of service, flying the RF-4C Phantom and the KC-135R refueling tanker. Maj. Coover has participated in numerous overseas operational deployments to include Allied Force, Joint Forge, Decisive Endeavor, Enduring Freedom, and Noble Eagle and has been awarded both Air Force Meritorious Service and Air Force Commendation Medals. He is active in a variety of community and church activities and enjoys coaching youth sports, boating, skiing, golf, and staying current in the latest technology developments. He is married and the proud father of two children, William and Jennifer.
