The band Blu Simon was born out of a love for music. We write and play what is interesting to us. There is no set structure or formula for songs. They are as long or as short as they need to be and always changing. They grow as we grow and because of this there is a lot improvisation, not for improvisations sake, but as a testament to the present experience. I'm not trying to be existential, its just that music has a way of communicating where words seem to fail. Bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd we hold as models for their abilities to play many different styles and maintain a signature sound. You will hear different things from us, but it all will have our signature. We want to invite you to see us for who we are as we are. Here on Ustream.com you can watch live feeds of our concerts and practices. On our video blogs you can learn about the music we write, our song writing philosophies, and simply who we are as individuals. Feel free to write us and ask us questions, we will respond.
