ZATZAi - (“ZAT” like “CAT” and “ZAi” like “Hi”) Hi I’m ZATZAi , but most people just call me Zat... You’ll find me spending most of my time in the metaverse Second Life, though I explore others MMOs and metaverses as well. It’s an online virtual world, not unlike the real world we live in except you can’t die and everyone can fly for starters. Many people have been heralding the idea of a metaverse as what will one day replace the internet, well I don’t know about all that (2D is pretty useful after all) but I certainly think it supplements the traditional web very well. What exactly do I do in Second Life you ask? Well I host and run events, be it my own or others, on my sim Artificial Isle and other locations. The largest event I’ve hosted was being the Second Life in world hub for the Second Life Community Convention (SLCC) in 2007. We had around 2,500 visitors across three days to my property and even more at other people’s satellite locations. Several events take place here, including my own convention which is known as Second Convention (SecCon).
