Kevy Nova has been playing music for longer than he can remember. It's true. His father, a drummer, dreamed of having a guitar playing son and supplied young Kevy with a plethora of musical toys. According to his Baby Book, on his second birthday he received his “1st set of drums, 3rd guitar & other various toys.” Kevy would often “sit in” at his father’s band practices, watching the guitarists and trying to mimic them with his little red toy guitar. At the age of ten, he started going to his father’s gigs to work the lights. At 13, he was allowed to control the P.A. and finally, at 15, he was asked to join the band. He spent the next three years honing his skills on guitar, bass and drums by gigging weekly in several bar bands until forming his first all original band at the age of 18. In 2009, he released his first full-length CD, “Greatest Hits Volume I” on which he plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, tenor banjo and sings lead and harmony vocals.
