The mission of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance is to increase the visibility and reputation of the Finger Lakes AVA, its wines and wineries. The Alliance was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in the spring of 2004. The fourteen member (twelve voting and two advisory) Board of Directors are winery principals representing all four wine trails and non-wine wineries. The Finger Lakes Wine Alliance promotes wine and tourism values through media and consumer programs that identify regional winegrowing and visitation quality factors and resources. Our objectives are to fund and support a marketing program that encourages the sales of Finger Lakes wines in and out of the region while simultaneously stimulating visitation.
