there’s silence and there’s sound and both is endless in its proper ways. here`s a swiss man who produces, thinks and functions on that credo ever since the triumphal procession of electronical music. since the beginning of the 90ies, jools a.k.a. jools mucke has been looking as a dj as well as a producer into the question, how to get away from creative conventions. his search for an answer benefits from his vast knowledge of music, aquired over many years. deep house, dub tech, dubstep or uk funky: these are all small attempts to approximately circumscribe jooLs style. What surely helps is to expose oneselves to his music in a unprejudiced manner. then what is magic for a limited rationality, is the logic of infinity.
