How do I upgrade to Producer 2 from Producer 1?

1. Download Producer 2 for Windows or Mac
2. Install the program on your computer.
3. If you want to overwrite Producer 1, use the default file location suggested by the installer. If you want to keep both versions installed, create a folder within your Applications (Mac) or Program Files (Windows) called Producer 2 and install the new program there.

If you installed Producer v2 on the same computer as your previous v1 Producer Pro license, your serial number should already be entered. To verify this:

1. Mac: Go to Ustream Producer menu or Windows: Go to the File menu
2. Click on Preferences
3. Choose Register
4. You should see your serial number in the window.

How do I purchase Producer Pro or Studio?

My serial number won't activate. What do I do?

One Producer Pro serial number allows for two activations of the software. See here how to deactivate your serial number on one of your original installations so you can re-use this serial number on a third computer. If you have not yet reached two activations, or are unable to deactivate one of your original computers, please email support@ustream.tv with the subject line RESET PRODUCER SERIAL NUMBER and include your serial number in the email if you need your activations to be reset.

Producer v1 serial numbers are not cross platform. If you are using a serial number from Mac on Windows, or vice-versa, it will not work. Please follow the refund instructions below.

What is the refund policy for Producer Pro and Producer Studio?

Refunds are allowed on purchases made within sixty days. To request a refund, please email support@ustream.tv with PRODUCER REFUND REQUEST in the subject line. Include your name, order number, order date, and serial number so we can further assist you.

I purchased for the incorrect computer platform. Can I exchange my serial number?

Producer version 1 serial numbers are platform-specific. Windows serial numbers only work for Windows and Mac for Mac. There is no automatic exchange method for Producer Pro serial numbers; only a refund and repurchase is available in this situation. Please follow the refund request steps listed above. Version 2 serial numbers are cross-platform

I can't find my Producer serial number. What do I do?

Please email support@ustream.tv with the subject line LOST MY PRODUCER SERIAL and include as much information as possible to help find your number: your first and last name, email address, the computer platform you purchased for (i.e., Mac or PC), the approximate date of purchase, and the credit card type. We will send the inquiry to the manufacturer to locate the serial number.
