Moscardini received his formal music instruction at the Julián Aguirre Provincial Conservatory in Buenos Aires and began his career working alongside well-known Argentinean artists.
In 1990, he was awarded the Primer Certamen Libre de la Nueva Música Popular de la Provincia de Buenos Aires performing as a soloist. Later, in 2005, he received a scholarship from Argentina’s Fondo Nacional de las Artes (National Arts Foundation) for his piece entitled Buenos Aires de raíz.

Carlos Barbosa-Lima began performing in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the age of twelve. Over the years, with guidance from his teacher, Isaías Savio, and from the legendary Andrés Segovia, Barbosa-Lima has honed and perfected his mastery of the guitar.
In 1967, at age 22, he made his first official entry into the international concert circuit with a debut in the United States. Since then he has enjoyed a remarkable career as a guitarist and arranger of classical music and jazz. He releases albums often, with a total of 11 CDs for Concord Jazz, and has also recorded many of his own arrangements.
