Miles is a Tri-Color Shetland Sheepdog who weighs in currently at 6.2 pounds, his coat is coming in pretty thick now, and he is a sweet… This is a broadcast of my Sheltie puppy so I can keep an eye on him while I'm at work to make sure he's ok.
Miles is a Tri-Color Shetland Sheepdog who weighs in currently at 6.2 pounds, his coat is coming in pretty thick now, and he is a sweet little guy. He is 8 weeks old as of June 20, 2009, and was born on April 20, 2009.
Update(July 20, 2009): Miles is now about 8.9 pounds, and is 3 months old, he is pretty much potty trained, knows how to sit, lay down and crawl (by 11 weeks he knew those 3) and is soon to learn how to rollover, and stay/etc.
Currently working on getting a different webcam as the one in my laptop is a little limited in viewing angle, seems Miles decided he was happier sleeping where the webcam can barely see him.
(Update July 21, 2009) For anyone just joining the cam here, Miles just got upgraded to that pen that you see yesterday, unfortunately he can now watch me walk out the door on my way to work, we are working on easing his separation anxiety, but he will soon be able to be in there on carpet where he cant see me leave for work anymore. He is potty trained, but for his first week or 2 in the pen I will let him stay on the tile, then we will move to a bit more quiet/less traffic area of my place.
Update Jul 31 2009:
Miles is just getting to start getting used to the crate no longer being put in with him, so far he is doing great, and will probably just be in the pen for the next few months with a potential trial of just being confined to my room there. He next goes to the vet again around the 17th of August.
Miles got his first adult shots to last him till next year. He weighed in at 12 pounds and is perfectly healthy.
Miles turned 5 months old today, and also got to see his mom and dad again over where I got him from. It was a great time, he was very well behaved and they wore him out pretty good. He now weighs about 15 pounds, and is close to losing the last of his puppy teeth.
Miles is now just about 9 months old, is about 20 pounds or so, and getting quite a bit closer to being free to my bedroom completely with no pen at all. He has been a great dog so far and I know he will continue to be.
