Polar Bear Siku lives in the Scandinavian Wildlife Park in Kolind, Denmark with his father Nanok and an older male, Nuuk. Siku and his polar bear family are global ambassadors for wild polar bears, calling on the world to help reverse climate change. In fact, the name Siku comes from an Inuit word for sea ice, the regions of frozen ocean that we’ll need to save from global warming if polar bears are going to survive and thrive.
Tune in to the SWP Denmark Zoo cam to watch Siku and his family from 7:00am - 9:00am ET!
