Steve's hummingbird cluster-feeder. Live video feed of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds from Catoctin Mountain Maryland. The Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) is the only hummingbird species that nests east of the Great Plains (a rare Rufus Hummingbird may put in an appearance here). They are normally seen here from mid April to mid October. Our feeders are filled with 1 part sugar plus 4 parts water (no red dye). Visit us at: www.HummingbirdWebcam.com.
For info on hummingbirds visit my brother Lanny's website www.hummingbirds.net
As we are located in a forest/watershed, there are lots of animals you may see here such as deer, black bears, and many different birds. My camera has sound, so turn up the volume and listen to the forest sounds. We have a bird seed feeder in the viewing area. Can you identify the different birds by their call?
