After 31 days outside of Governor Rick Scott's office in Tallahassee, the Dream Defenders' movement grew too big to contain in the walls of the Florida Capitol.
We now head to DC to join thousands of brothers and sisters in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.
On March 24th and March 28th, Dream Defenders Director Phillip Agnew will take the same stage that MLK and John Lewis once took to speak to hundreds of thousands. But this time the dream will be live-streamed - broadcasted around the world for millionds to hear instantly. This time the message will echo not only through the masses around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, but also through the allies of the Bronx, the perimeters of Tahrir Square, Chicago’s West Side, and the roads of the West Bank. This time instead of the statement “I have a dream,” there is a question: “Can We Dream Together?”
