The 2013 National Conference on Citizenship will take place September 19-20 at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Live-stream will be available September 19, 4-8:30pm Eastern and September 20, 8:30am-3:00pm Eastern. The theme for this year's conference is “America's Charter: Past, Present, and Future.” This year, NCoC celebrates the 60th anniversary of our Congressional charter, which charged us to explore the meaning of and find ways to increase active citizenship in America. The Conference hashtag is #NCoC and it is made possible with support from KPMG LLP, MindMixer, Macy's, GiveGab, Sigma-Aldrich, Sprint, and Campaign for the Civic Mission of Schools. We'd also like to thank the following generous individuals: Michael and Julie Weiser, Garrett Graff, The A. G. Newmyer III Foundation, Gail Leftwich Kitch, Tom Gottschalk, and Tom Susman.
