In MMTC’s public interest and civil rights law practice, we represent 80 national organizations in selected proceedings before the FCC, the federal courts of appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Our clients have included essentially all of the traditional civil rights organizations (including the NAACP, National Urban League, LULAC, NCLR and the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition), professional and trade organizations such as the and the National Association of Black Telecommunications Professionals, religious organizations (the National Council of Churches and the Office of Communication of the United Church of Christ, Inc.), unions (AFTRA and CWA) and many other organizations interested in fostering diversity and equal opportunity and in closing the digital divide. MMTC serves as General Counsel to the Broadband Opportunity Coalition.
