WEC全８戦中最も著名で権威ある第３戦・ルマン24時間制覇に向け、今期２つのレースに挑んだトヨタ・レーシングの軌跡を取材、日の丸ハイブリッドカーが勝つためのシナリオに迫った。

第２戦スパ・フランコルシャン６時間レースでは、２月に公開された新型車両を初めて投入。
