Susan Carlin is a full-time, professional painter in San Antonio, Texas. She has been painting commissioned portraits for over thirty years, and teaches workshops in portraiture, to both pastel and oil painters. She owns Nueva Street Gallery in La Villita, the historic arts village of San Antonio next to the Riverwalk.
During her broadcasts, which she does from her home studio, Susan answers questions from her viewers and enjoys the company of those who participate in the chat. The broadcast schedule is adjusted to accommodate the changing opportunities in her life, but she usually paints online at least once a week.
