Do not try this at home - nothing bad happened - I just think this is probably not the best thing to be doing with your toaster in your house - maybe if you did it out in the yard then it might be ok, but even then I'm not recommending this mainly because I don't want to be responsible for any fires not because I don't think it was was effective or fun (because it was - both of those things).
