On May 14th, 2013, we launched one of our key Centennial initiatives - 100 Resilient Cities - a $100 million pledge to building urban resilience. After receiving more than 1,000 expressions of interest from across six continents, the inaugural cities will be named during the Innovation Forum in New York.

During the event, various experts and leaders from across sectors, including government, academia, non-profit, corporate and philanthropy will engage with one another with the hope of sparking new ideas and approaches to building urban resilience that can benefit us all - far beyond the convening.
