Description:
What is Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and how does it relate to Business Process Analysis (BPA)? Are the processes redundant or complimentary?
What is the campus’s ERM initiative all about, and how can the ERM and BPA initiatives work together?
Are the objectives and risks ERM cares about the same ones BPA cares about?
At what point during a PBA project should practitioners be implementing elements of ERM?
What are controls, and when should they be evaluated in the BPA process?
We invite you to join Barbara VanCleave Smith, Director of Controls, Accountability, and Risk Management, and Hans Gude, Manager of Controls and Accountability, for answers to these questions and more. They will share with the audience what ERM is all about, how it is being implemented on the Berkeley campus, and how it can work in concert with BPA toward common campuswide goals.
