Honorees include Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro who led the fight in Congress to achieve paid sick days and full pay equity for women, Texas state Senator Leticia Van de Putte who bravely spoke out for women's reproductive rights during the Texas abortion debates, and Barbara R. Arnwine, executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law who championed the passage of the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1991.
