7 Days, 17 Hours

221 Views Length: 85:51 The news of President Lincoln’s election reached the West in seven days and 17 hours, a record-breaking ride by the Pony Express. Duquesne University students set off on motorcycles to retrace the trail of the Pony Express and beat the speed record set 150 years ago. Watch their film to find out if they made it! After the film, the riders and crew answer questions from Postal Museum visitors and Twitter.

The students are part of the ALT Project: http://www.jma.duq.edu/alt/10/Home.html
