Susan Carlin is a full-time, professional painter in San Antonio, Texas. Though Susan no longer accepts commissions for paintings, she painted commissioned portraits for over forty years. When the mood strikes her, Susan teaches workshops in portraiture, to both pastel and oil painters. She co-owns Whistle Stop Corner, an art workshop space and guesthouse for visiting artists.

During her broadcasts, which she does from her home studio, Susan answers questions from her viewers and enjoys the company of those who participate in the chat.
