NewTeeVee: Ustream Expands to Japan

Ryan Lawler of NewTeeVee announced the launch of Ustream Japan. The new localized Ustream site includes full translations of all site features including a section dedicated for Japanese broadcasts. NewTeeVee predicted that the expansion into Japan and to the Asia-Pacific region in general will give Ustream a “big boost.”

USA Today: Country Music Star Jimmy Wayne Walks Halfway Across America To Help Homeless Youth

USA Today conducted an interview with recording artist Jimmy Wayne. In efforts to raise awareness of the youth homeless crisis in America, Jimmy walked halfway from Nashville to Phoenix for his “Meet Me Halfway” campaign. To spread the message, Jimmy broadcast his journey on Ustream to give viewers a “real sense of what it’s like to live on the streets.”
