Jalaluddin Rumi and Shams of Tabriz. While known for centuries to millions of people throughout the Middle East and Asia, in the past decade, Rumi’s teachings have attracted a growing number of people in western countries. This discovery of Rumi and Shams in the west has greatly expanded and re-energized the power and timelessness of the teachings.
