How to Customize a Show Page
Go to "My Shows" --> "Design" tab. On this tab, users can upload a banner, modify the background and context boxes, and the color of the texts. On this page, they can also add "Partner Shows", which are embeds of other users shows.
How to Make a Recorded Video a "Favorite"
A Favorite video is a video selected by the Ustream user to be featured on their show page. Favorite videos appear at the beginning of the recorded videos list below the video player. These videos can also be made to play when the show is off the air. To select favorites go to "My Shows" --> "Clips" tab. There will be a list of all the recorded clips the user has recorded with that show. To make a video a favorite, click "Add to favorites". To remove, click "Remove from favorites". A user can also set the priority of a favorite, which determines how it is ordered in the videos list on the show page and in what order it will play when the show is off the air. Furthermore, on the "Clips" tab, the user can decide whether to play favorite clips while off the air or play the last episode or simply rotate through pictures.
How to Add Partner Shows
Go to "My Shows" --> "Design" tab. At the bottom type in the name of the show to be added as a partner show. A list of shows will appear. Click on the show you wish to add and save. It will then appear on your show page.
How to Add Persistant Chat Moderators
Persistant moderators are users that will automatically be made moderators when they enter a specific show's chatroom. If a user has a specific individual he trusts and would like to make a permanent moderator so he does not constantly have to op them everytime they enter, then he can list them as a "Persistant Moderator". To do so, go to "My Shows" --> "Advanced" tab and enter the Ustream usernames of the users and select them from the list that appears. Click save and they should automatically be made moderators the next time they enter the chat and thereafter.
How to Convert Recorded Video Files to Different File Types and How to Download Them
You can convert your Ustream Recorded video files to .wmv, .mov, or .mp4. To do so, go your "My Videos" page and click on "Video format conversions". After selecting your format, it will take a few minutes to convert the file. The format name will turn blue next to the "Download" option once the video is converted. You will then be able to download them by clicking on the format type in blue.
How to Syndicate Recorded Video Files to Other Sites
You must first convert your recorded video to a different format other than FLV; you can do so on the "My Videos" page. After you have at least one other format for your video file other than FLV then click on the "Syndication" button and select what sites you would like the video to be sent to and then click "OK". Expect a wait of fifteen minutes before you can watch your recorded video on the other site.
