San Antonio, TX (Jan 2, 2014) - ESPN has teamed up with All American Games to bring the 6th , 7th and 8th grade championship games of the nation's largest youth football tournament to steam live on ESPN3. In its third year, the FBU National Championship is a 64 team bracket tournament to select a true national champion in youth football's 6th, 7th and 8th grade divisions. This tournament has allowed the talent infused all-star teams to compete on a national stage, with the champions being crowned at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, and broadcast LIVE on ESPN3 on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. EST. (6th grade), 4:30 P.M. EST. (7th Grade) and 7:00 P.M. EST (8th grade). ESPN 3 can be accessed through a cable or dish provider in premium packages, or streaming on www.espn3.com. It is currently viewed in 86 million homes.
The tournament kicked off Saturday, December 7, at 16 sixteen regional locations across America with over 5,000 talented youth football players and 1,200 coaches participating. Each team is comprised of grade based athletes whom have been selected from various all-star teams around the nation. The final four teams advanced through the four rounds of regional brackets victories which culminate with final games in San Antonio.
