Roger McNamee will talk about the mobile Mobile Web Innovation, and draw from his extensive background in technology startups to talk about innovation in the industry.
Roger is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Elevation Partners, a key investor in the Palm and Move. He has been investing in technology companies since 1982. After nine years at T. Rowe Price, where he ran the top-ranked Science & Technology Fund, Roger joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers to launch the groundbreaking crossover fund, Integral Capital Partners. In 1999, he co-founded Silver Lake Partners, the private equity fund focused on technology. In 2004, he co-founded Elevation Partners, where he serves on the boards of Palm and Move. Roger’s best known venture investments include Electronic Arts, Sybase, Intuit, Flextronics, Overture, Blue Nile, Informatica, Cerent (acquired by Cisco), and Facebook. His private equity investments include Seagate, Datek (Ameritrade), Gartner Group, Palm, and Move.
