NOTE: We are putting out a special appeal for help with this year’s “Holiday Bread Sale”. Fr. John has had surgery on his right arm which is going to limit his activity for the next few weeks. We do not want to cancel the bread sale since it is a major fundraiser for our parish. We are asking that men and women volunteer to come to the center on the above listed days when baking is scheduled. As much help as we can get will be greatly appreciated. If we pull together, we’ll be able to have this sale and not disappoint customers who are already calling to place orders. If you are willing to help, please call Fr. John so that arrangements can be made to set up a system for this tremendous undertaking. Thank you.

DONATIONS REQUESTED: Anyone willing to donate towards the following for the period of the Nativity Fast as an act of almsgiving may do so by contacting the sextons or Fr. John: Altar Candles - $65 each; Wine - $50 case; Incense $35 lb.; Oil - $35.
FLOWER CLUB: If you have not paid your 2010 club as of yet, please do so by seeing Millie Fife. Millie would like to close the books for 2010, but she cannot do so until all members are paid in full. If you have any questions about the status of payment for your club, please call Millie at 876-1075. ALSO, if you would like to join the 2011 Flower Club, please contact Millie.

VIGIL LIGHT COMMEMORATIONS: The end of the year is coming for the vigil light commemorations. If you have not paid for your commemorations as of yet, please do so by marking your name on an envelope, placing your $25 into that envelope and dropping the envelope into the Candle Box located in the church vestibule or hand it to one of the sextons. Thank you. The new lists for 2011 are at the candle desk. If you would like to offer a commemoration for a special occasion, please sign up on the list today.

YOLKA & DANCE COSTUMES NEEDED: If, by chance, you have any yolka or dance costumes at your home, please return them to the center this week. We realize that it is very easy to put a costume in a closet and forget about it; however, we are need of all costumes for the participants in this year’s production so we are asking that you check to see if you have possession of any of our dance or yolka attire. Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. PLEASE NOTE: This year’s Yolka will be held on Sunday, January 16 at 1:30 PM. Please mark your calendars and spread the word to your family and friends.
