This event is based in a South-South government-to-government knowledge exchange on urban solutions - provision of services to the urban migrant and poor. It is a three-way innovative and collaborative South-South learning initiative between three UNDP offices - the Asia-Pacific Regional Centre, Bangladesh, and China country offices. This event will apply human-centred and design thinking methodology focused on developing a prototype at the end of the exchange. The initiative will kick-off with an introductory workshop which will present both the Chinese government and CSOs as well as representatives from the Bangladesh government and other interested parties with an innovative and envelope-pushing concept for human-centred design thinking for urban service provision and the potential for exploring south-south exchange differently. The event will also dissect social issues through a reverse engineering approach and hold field visits to local 'One-Stop Urban Service Centres'.
