About PeepVision:
Peepcam broadcasts from 8AMish to whenever we go to bed and the brooder box is moved into the pantry to keep the spitz from helping herself to the snacks, I mean chickens. :P
Watch our 8 chicks grow up!
These are layers, not food chicks, and all but two have names.
The stripey ones (including the two dark brown ones) are Americaunas/Easter Egg chickens, which will lay blue, green, or pinky-brown. Their names are Sputnik, Owlchick, Stripey, Little Stripey, and Marco.
The blackish grey one is a Barred Rock, a dual-purpose breed which lays light-brown eggs. Her name is Laika.
The solid pale yellow one is a Leghorn, a light breed which is known for laying LOTS of large white eggs (and a flighty personality)
The yellow one with the red tinge to it is a production-bred Rhode Island Red, a breed which lays nice medium-brown eggs. Her name is Pollo.
