=====================
Leo is a Red Ear Slider, 4-5 years old. Gender is currently in question; some have said male while others lean toward female. We went with male for the time being.
I found him on Craigslist - his owner was moving to CA and couldn't take him with - so I picked him up and brought him home on February 3rd, 2012.
Some general information:
His home isn't as big as it technically should be, but it will do for now. At some point he will get an upgrade although having the basking area sitting above the tank really makes a difference. He is starting to get more comfortable and bask on a regular basis but quickly shoots back down the ramp when anyone approaches.
His favorite activity is chasing feeder fish around the tank. We can't do that very often though because he eats them all too quickly. I thought that it might keep him busy/entertained for a while but he doesn't stop until he gets them all. Last time it was 5 feeders in about as many minutes.
He seems to like bumping his shell under the bridge and will push it around. And, at night when the day-lights go out he starts swimming from top to bottom, pushing off of the rocks and being noisy.
I get a kick out of him. He's pretty turtlie.
