Concerts, opera and more from Musique Cordiale.
Celebrating its 6th year, Musique Cordiale is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting and unique festivals in the south of France. The vision is now well established, with the mixture of good amateur voices for the choir, professional players who come to enjoy two weeks in idyllic surroundings playing with their friends, plus the young soloists who are invited to come and perform works for the first time and to work with already established musicians in this heady environment.
The most recent addition to Musique Cordiale in 2009 was the hugely successful production of Vignette Production's The Marriage of Figaro with Musique Cordiale's favourite tenor Andrew Staples, making his debut as a director. In 2010 Andy will direct Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte which will take place in the magical Place du Valat on August 7 & 9.
