This event is to take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in room 201 of the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The event is hosted by the Young Conservatives of Texas at Texas A&M University. For more information visit http://yct.tamu.edu.
In a time when Congress passes $1,000,000,000,000 bailouts for the messiah Obama, a time when corporations are seen as the people’s enemy, and a time when A&M decides to come up with its own socialist programs, what are we supposed to think of capitalism?
Rabbi Daniel Lapin will be at A&M to explain “The Morality of Capitalism.” This is an event you will not want to miss! After hearing Lapin, you will fully understand why capitalism works, why it is moral, and why it is the best system available in present times. If you are a socialist who hates YCT, come out and ask Lapin some tough questions – engage in a debate of ideas! If you are a fiscal conservative, come out and learn new, better ways to argue with that liberal prof or that socialist friend. Ags, in changing times, it is up to us to make good change, not bad. Rabbi Lapin has a great argument that will reinforce your views, and if you have opposing views, it might give you something to sleep on for a few nights!
Rabbi Lapin will also discuss the much debated Aggie Assurance Program. Come out to hear which side will prosper in what is sure to be an exciting debate.
The event will begin at 7:00pm with a 30 minute lecture, followed by a 30 minute question and answer period.
This event is brought to you with generous support from Young America's Foundation and the Leadership Institute.
