UPDATE: My babies arrived a few days early. Boy, I'm glad THAT'S over--WHEW! I delivered my first boy at 5:15 AM and the last at 7:55 AM. They are SO beautiful!

Here are their stats: Maisy Pups whelped on March 6, 2010--

2) Boy (PURPLE): 6 oz. @ 5:40 AM
3) Girl (PINK--of course!): 5.5 oz. @5:50 AM
4) Boy (WHITE): 6 oz. @ 6:55 AM
5) Boy (BLACK): 6 oz. @ 7:55 AM


Day 17: The puppies have grown so fast! We thought you'd like an update on the their weights:

Red: 1# 7 oz.
Purple: 1# 6oz.
Pink: 1# 4 oz.
White: 1# 5 oz.
Black: 1# 3 oz.

UPDATE:

We've had a lot of questions and inquiries about the puppies and their future. Our niece (who has been patiently waiting over a year for a Maisy Pup) will be adopting one of the puppies and we will be keeping one as a companion for Maisy. We'll be placing the other three with wonderful forever families from the local area. Until then, we're enjoying every minute of our too-brief time spent with these adorable babies and doing our best to ensure they'll be healthy, well-adjusted companions. :)

20 April 2010: The puppies just had their first round of puppy shots. Their checkup went well, and all the babies are chubby and healthy. Here are their current weights according to the vet's scale--

Red: 2.8#
Purple: 2.9#
Pink: 2.3#
White: 2.7#
Black: 2.6#

Purple is our lil' bruiser! LOL More
