87,484 Live Views 1,508 In Crowd 数多くの皆既日食中継を行ってきたLIVE! ECLIPSEでは、2010年7月11日（日本時間12日）皆既日食におこる皆既日食をマンガイア島、ハオ島、イースター島からリレー形式でライブ中継します。
一番最初に皆既日食をむかえるマンガイア島では日本時間の7月12日午前3時19分頃に皆既日食をむかえます。ちょうどワールドカップサッカーの決勝戦が始まる頃です。そこから約20分後の3時41分頃にはハオ島が皆既日食をむかえます。
皆既日食をもたらす月の影は、その後も時速2000km以上の速度で南太平洋を突き進み、午前5時8分頃にイースター島での皆既日食をむかえることになります。

イースター島ではモアイ像の向こうに拡がる皆既日食中の空をお送り出来るか、現地に向かう @clavius が中継場所の選定を進めています。
