Every year, DC SCORES sets a fundraising goal to meet our needs. We've met or exceeded this goal nearly every year since 1994. This year, ending August 31, we are $130,000 shy, but determined to succeed. Our poet-athletes and their families are counting on us.
The Goal:
The Goal
DC SCORES is on a mission. Our goal is to raise $130,000. To achieve this, Executive Director Amy Nakamoto will juggle a soccer ball on the streets of Washington, DC from 7AM to 7 PM beginning Thursday, June 24th until the goal is reached.
The terms are simple:
KICK. keep the soccer ball moving and off the ground.
CLICK. donate online and follow our progress.
SCORE. give DC youth the tools to succeed on the field and in the classroom.
