毎年恒例の9月12日の大施餓鬼会法要、本堂では本格的な和太鼓の奉納演奏も行われます。
演奏者は世界的な太鼓演奏家にして作曲などでも著名な林英哲氏の門下生たちで、谷口卓也、谷口貴大兄弟、そして真言宗の若手僧侶たちです。

毎年大晦日は参拝者が除夜の鐘を無料でつくことができます、ただし希望者が多いので、本堂正面にて午後１１時から配られる無料の整理券が必要です。
この整理券は霊験あらたかなお守りとしてもとても人気があります。

大晦日にも和太鼓の奉納演奏が著名な太鼓奏者をお招きして行われます。
伝統と前衛の織りなす見事な太鼓演奏をお楽しみください。

また境内では大晦日には無料の甘酒なども振舞われています。
