My 100 gallon acrylic saltwater aquarium is custom made by Kittertanks, and measures 60"L x 20"H x 18"D. It's a Mixed Reef Tank with more than 60 Corals, 5 Fish, several Inverts, 3 tank raised seahorses, 170 lbs of Live Sand and 150 lbs of Live Rock. The system includes a 40 gallon sump, a 7 gallon custom built hex refugium and a Reef Octopus NW150 Protein Skimmer. The System is lit by 2 x 175W 20K SE (Mogul) ReefLux MHs, 2 x 110W URI-SVHO Super Blue Actinics, 1 54W 48" T5 Super Blue Actinic and 1 R2 Dual Controller Lunar Light System. The system incorporates 2 Drew's Two Part Dosing Peristaltic pumps for maintaing proper Alk and CA levels. The main Return Pump is an Ocean Runner 3500 by Aqua Medics that consumes 65 watts and moves 900 GPH. The system is cooled by a 1/4 HP Ecoplus Chiller. The cabinet is my design and was custom made. The entire system uses approximately 11 amps continuously; and along with the house is backed up by a 20KW Generac Natural Gas generator.
I've done all the work, so you can sit back and enjoy. Once I get my 2MP Logitech web cam set up this week, and UStream gives us Mac Users (who aren't running Boot Camp) the HD Flash Plug-in you'll really be in for a good show in the "Full Screen Mode." So for now, please enjoy this as it's the best I can do.
I am a active of member of both the B.A.R.S. and M.A.R.S. reef clubs; and can be found on Reef Central and Living Reef too. Thanks for watching and for posting your comments.... Here is the link to my BARS Tank Journal Page http://www.bareefers.org/home/node/8161
