One of the major advantages of the HoverflyProTM flight control system is scalability. You can choose Quad, Hex, or Octo and even "+" or "X" orientations in Quad configuration. The HoverflyPro also automatically corrects for different size frames. On-Board and transmitter gain allows the user to fine tune the flight control. Why is this important? If all you want to fly is a tiny camera then it's not as important. But if you want to fly the latest HD cameras that weigh 5-10 lbs (just an example not a limit) then you are going to need a flight controller that can handle larger platforms. We currently have users with Quadcopters in the >20 lb flight weight category. They have chosen to use our flight controllers for their more demanding applications.
Safety and Surveillance
One of the expanding markets for multi-rotor aircraft is remote monitoring. The most important factor in these applications is video that is not shaky and that can be used to make confident identification. The stability of the Hoverfly flight controllers, we believe, is unmatched in the market today.
